Netflix Releases New Teaser for Harry & Meghan Docuseries
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are bringing their story to Netflix. An official teaser for their docuseries, Harry & Meghan was released on Thursday.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have unveiled how they are going to tell their story. Partnering with Netflix through their production company, Archewell, the Duke and Duchess gave a glimpse into their life through the new series.
Harry & Meghan will be a six-episode docuseries following the couple from the start of their relationship to the present. Their fairytale wedding, welcoming their children, and their controversial exit from the royal family will be featured. Close friends and family will share their stories of the couple for the first time. Historians will also weigh in on their revolutionary relationship and its effects on the Royals today.

Netflix’s teaser for the series opens with a black-and-white photo of Meghan and Harry with an interviewer asking “Why did you want to make this documentary?” A series of joyful photos follow the question before they abruptly halt.
Next, the prince’s voice can be heard over a photo of Markle with her head in her hands. He voiced, “No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors.” The following photos are solemn, featuring the couple’s time being deeply involved with the royal family.
Prince William and Princess Kate can be seen in addition to a photo of Meghan donning all black for Remembrance Day in 2019. The black-and-white theme remains consistent until Harry is shown in the first clip from the series.
The Duke of Sussex is doing an interview and seemingly answering a question in the clip. He sternly states, “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.” This is the first scene in color, showing the significance of the couple’s words. More photos follow before a rapid series of pictures of the Duke and Duchess appear.
To close out the teaser, the Duchess is seated in an interview asking, “When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?” Although few words are spoken in the short sneak peek, the serious and complex moods of the project can still be felt by viewers.
Many fan reactions to the teaser were positive, with viewers looking forward to getting an inside look at a relationship that is consistently in the spotlight.
