From starring in the thriller Alice, Jordan Peele’s Nope, to voicing Izzy Hawthorne in Lightyear, the multitalented actress has been booked and busy all year. Palmer graced the stage on Saturday Night Live, glowing in a long brown trench coat. “People have been in my comments, saying ‘Keke’s having a baby. Keke’s pregnant.’ And I want to set the record straight. I am,” She busted open the coat exposing her growing belly, then continued, “It is bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you, y’all. But it’s even worse when they’re correct.”

The Nope star will soon welcome her first child with her boyfriend, Darius Daulton Jackson, the brother of Insecure star Sarunas Jackson. The two have been publicly dating since 2021. Palmer took a moment to reflect on her announcement and thanked the SNL cast and crew in a sweet Instagram post. “This year has taken me for a ride! And how cool, my baby and I are already doing it all together,” she stated. Palmer, who has previously been vocal about her journey with PCOS, is inspiring a large number of women with the same battle.

Palmer is undeniably beautiful, and it is nice to see her confidence unwavering during this new chapter in her life. Just a few days shy of her viral pregnancy announcement, the former GMA3 host took to Twitter to shut down a few internet trolls who criticized her appearance without makeup. “I’m beautiful in real life because of who I am, not what I look like.” While it’s unclear what caused such disruption, fans took to Twitter to support Palmer, admiring her resilience.

Witnessing Palmer’s journey from a young talent on True Jackson V.P. to a strong powerhouse has truly been admirable. Watch Palmer’s SNL monologue here.
