Lana Del Rey Announces New Album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd
A new Lana Del Rey era is upon us. The “Arcadia” singer announced her new studio album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.
Lana Del Rey’s follow-up to her 2021 records, Chemtrails over the Country Club and Blue Banisters, is coming in March 2023. While we impatiently wait for the new album, the singer released the title track.
The album cover contains production by frequent collaborator, Jack Antonoff. Other producers include Mike Hermosa, Drew Erickson, Zach Dawes, and Benji. In addition to the records production credits, Del Rey also revealed the names of the guests on the album. Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd collaborations include Bleachers, Jon Batiste, Father John Misty, Tommy Genesis, Judah Smith, and SYML.

The singer’s surprise single is her first piece of music since the release of her ethereal track, “Watercolor Eyes.” The song was featured in the latest season of Euphoria.
After being honored with Variety’s Decade Award last year, Del Rey took time to reflect on her career in music, stating, “I can’t say to what extent I’ve influenced anything. But I can say all of my creative cosplay — aka notes from my real life — did widen up the sound in popular music for people to make a departure from a pure pop sound to something more diarist.”
