Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s documentary series made its way to Netflix on December 8. There will be a total of six episodes in the series, but only the first three are available for streaming now.

The first episode, “Episode 1,” focuses on the couple’s journey as individuals before they met and began their whirlwind love story. Prince Harry’s upbringing is featured first, and highlights his younger image as a royal “party boy.” His relationship with his mother, Princess Diana, is also discussed in great detail.

As for the couple’s love story, they admit to meeting after some serious social media stalking. Harry asked a mutual friend to introduce him to Meghan after he lurked on her Instagram. The two only met twice before the Duke invited Markle to accompany him on a trip to Botswana. After they returned from their trip, the couple confirmed that they have been inseparable ever since.

Episode 2” brings the series back to the couple growing up, focusing on Meghan’s past. Coming of age on the other side of the world from her future groom, Meghan excelled in school and wished to be an actress. The second installment also brought up the British press and how it crept into the Duke and Duchess’ relationships early on.

Both Harry and Meghan had careers and personal lives in the public eye before meeting one another. Once news of their relationship broke, the public had many opinions. “Episode 2” frequently mentions how British citizens initially loved Meghan, but the press came after her quickly.

The flood of media attacks takes viewers into “Episode 3,” when the Duke and Duchess finally get engaged. Once Harry proposed, royal pressures started to weigh down on Meghan. She even confessed how she truly felt about having to curtsy in front of the Queen for the first time.

Fellow celebs and fans had many reactions–some coming before they even watched the series. Maren Morris, the Grammy award-winning country singer, voiced her opinion on the “hatred” the Duchess receives in a TikTok ahead of her viewing of the docuseries.

Netflix has released a preview for episodes 4 through 6. The official trailer can be found here. New episodes of Harry & Meghan will be available to stream on December 15.
