Netflix Drops New Teaser for Season 4, Part 2 of You
Get ready because Netflix just released the teaser trailer for Season 4, Part 2 of the hit series, You. The second half of the season will drop on March 9.
The first part of season 4 was released on February 9. Within a week, it sat at the No. 1 spot on Netflix with over 92 million hours viewed.
The psychological thriller released its first season on Netflix on December 26, 2019, after premiering on Lifetime in 2018. Based on the books by Caroline Kepnes, the series follows a man named Joe (Penn Badgley) as he finds a new woman to obsess over every season.
Season 4 part one follows Joe after he fakes his death, abandons his son, and moves to London to be a professor. He becomes involved in a murder mystery and is being stalked and blackmailed by the killer. Spoiler alert: the killer was revealed to be Rhys (Ed Speleers), a successful author and politician.
The trailer for season four part two of You reveals Rhys and Joe spending a lot more time together, something Joe struggles with because he does not view himself as similar to Rhys. The trailer also features Love (Victoria Pedretti) sitting in a cage reading a book.
Everything that Joe touches gets destroyed. He uses murder as an accidental “last-resort” option as he calls it, but his problem stems from his lack of commitment in his relationships. After a failed relationship with Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) in season 1, she ended up dead.
In season 2, Joe sets his sights on Love, who surprises him with her equal level of insanity. Season three sets the scene with the two of them married, raising a son in a seemingly perfect life in a fictitious California suburb. But nothing can ever be enough for Joe because he already has his eyes on the woman next door. Season 3 ends with Joe killing Love.
As a result, fans on Twitter expressed their anxious anticipation to see Love return this season.
