Givēon Drops New Dates and Is Set to Headline His First European Tour
Breakout R&B artist, Givēon, just announced his first European headlining tour this spring following a wildly successful past few years.
The tour will start in Manchester on May 2 and conclude in Stockholm on May 16. Within that time, Givēon is set to play 10 shows across Europe, stopping in cities such as London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Copenhagen. Givēon posted the show dates on his Instagram, tagging fellow R&B musician, RIMON, who will be joining him on tour.
It was back in 2021 that Justin Bieber’s sixth studio album, Justice, was released. The hit album included the song “Peaches” featuring Givēon and Daniel Ceasar and quickly rose to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
Following his rise in popularity after “Peaches.” Givēon released his first studio album, Give or Take, in June of 2022. He then took to the stage to perform the new album for several sold-out shows in the U.S. and Europe.
Give or Take saw instant success, reaching #3 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and #11 on the Billboard 200. Both the New York Times and Rolling Stone proclaimed it as one of the best albums of 2022. Rolling Stone praised the album writing, “Givēon’s voice could make a nursery rhyme sound like an intimate ballad. On Give Or Take, Givēon uses his superpower to cut deeper than ever before, belting stingers as memorable as his one-in-a-million baritone. And although he moves from vulnerabilities to dalliances to the inevitable heartbreak, this album feels cohesive, tied together nicely by a conversation with his mother about love and his rightful ascension to stardom.”
Last Spring, Givēon played a mesmerizing set at Coachella, sitting in the company of global stars, such as Harry Styles and Billie Eilish, in the festival lineup. He is also on this year’s Governer’s Ball lineup alongside headliners Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo, and Odesza. The festival will be in New York this June just as Givēon wraps up his European tour.

It has been a whirlwind past few years for the rising star, with several Grammy nominations, an acclaimed album release, and sold-out shows worldwide. Clearly, Givēon is one to watch as his fan base grows and his artistry continues to shine through his music.
