Launched in 2021, Marvel Studios: Legends intends to showcase specific characters with footage from past films and TV series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Each episode is only 5-10 minutes long. While the episodes are usually available only on Disney+, this is the first time that Marvel Studios: Legends are releasing episodes on YouTube as well.

The three new episodes will kick off season 2, covering content from Phase Five of the MCU. Along with Phases Four and Six, Phase Five is part of the Multiverse Saga, which started with 2021’s Black Widow.

In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Scott Lang (Ant-Man) and Van Dyne (The Wasp), along with their families, get transported to the Quantum Realm in which they face off against Kang the Conqueror, embodied by Jonathan Majors.

An alternate version of Kang was previously revealed in an episode of Loki, however, this is Kang’s first proper appearance in the MCU. Majors will reprise his role in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, which are planned to be released in 2025 and 2026.

Quantumania will also be Paul Rudd’s third Ant-Man film, succeeding Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). In addition, Rudd has also been involved in other MCU films including Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Endgame.

Glitter Magazine attended the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania global press conference which included the cast and show-runners, Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne/Wasp), Jonathan Majors (Kang the Conqueror), Kathryn Newton (Cassie Lang) Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne/Wasp), Michael Douglas (Dr. Hank Pym), Peyton Reed (Director), Kevin Feige (Producer), and Stephen Broussard (Producer). Episode 1: Ant-Man

In this episode, the audience will go over all the moments that led to Scott Lang becoming Ant-Man. Scott goes against many opponents like Darren Cross/Yellowjacket and Ava Starr/Ghost. Scott is a key component in helping the Avengers defeat Thanos and save the universe in Avengers: Endgame. In addition, the episode explores his relationship with Hope van Dyne and his daughter Cassie Lang. This father-daughter connection will be further explored in the new Ant-Man film.

Episode 2: The Wasp

Episode 2 focuses on Hope van Dyne and her relationship with her father, the inventor Hank Pym. It goes into detail on how Hope trains Scott Lang to help him fulfill his destiny as Ant-Man. Hope isn’t just a trainer, she also becomes a superhero herself known as The Wasp. The episode reveals to us her journey as The Wasp, which would eventually lead to her fighting alongside the Avengers.

Episode 3: Hank & Janet


This episode follows the original Ant-Man and The Wasp: Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne. It goes through Hank’s journey, which evolves from being the creator of the Pym particle to being Hope’s overprotective father. It is thanks to Scott Lang, that Janet can be rescued from the Quantum Realm.
