Since taking a hiatus after her 2016 album ANTI, the world has been missing Rihanna. However, in October the star gave us a glimpse of returning to her music career with the release of “Lift Me Up,” a track featured in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Now, we get to see her sing the track live at the annual Academy Awards, set for March 12.

A month after her stunning Super Bowl performance, the world is going to be cheering Rihanna yet again as she takes the Oscars stage. Ever since the Super Bowl, Rihanna’s songs, old and new, are sitting at the top of the global charts. She has been coming back strong, breaking both her own records and streaming service records.

And, best of all, the singer is blowing up her less viral tracks, bringing a whole lot more love to her entire discography. Her older tracks, such as “Pour It Up,” “Where Have You Been” and “Umbrella” have been at the top of charts ever since her performance.

This is thanks to her Super Bowl setlist, in which she skillfully mixed some of her most well-known hits with songs that did not gain the same traction when they were first released.

“Lift Me Up” is now listed on Rihanna’s Spotify profile as her current #1 popular track, coming in at over 200 million streams. With the huge spike in listeners after the Super Bowl, we can only imagine that this number will skyrocket when the Academy Awards take place.

While fans have Rihanna’s songs on repeat, everyone is looking forward to her upcoming performance. On top of all her other endeavors, her music has taken the world by storm in the past few weeks, and that doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon.

After Rihanna’s astounding Super Bowl performance, her next gig at the Oscars will definitely be memorable. Tune in live to the Academy Awards on ABC on March 12. Listen to “Lift Me Up” here.
