Travis Scott Accused of Punching a Man in the Face
Police sources told Page Six that Travis Scott allegedly punched a man in the face at Club Nebula early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to a call in Midtown after Scott allegedly got into a verbal and physical altercation with a sound engineer. Before leaving the scene, Scott also allegedly damaged $12,000 worth of equipment including a speaker and video screen. The victim had no apparent injuries.
Sources revealed that Scott came to the event around 1 a.m. and appeared intoxicated. The entire incident happened within 10 minutes of his arrival.
Some sources believe Scott was angry from the very beginning of his arrival at the club, donning a shirt that threatened “Back the f–k up.” He was upset about the sound volume in the club.
Scott’s lawyer and the Nebula managing partner claim the incident was blown out of proportion. “While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight,” his lawyer Mitchell Schuster claimed, “We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
Nebula managing partner Richie Romero also claimed, “This is blown completely out of proportion. It was a great night.”
This is not the first incident in Scott’s criminal history. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in 2018 after being arrested on charges of inciting a riot in May 2017. He was required to pay $640 in court fees and $6,825.31 to two people who said they were injured at the concert.
Another item to add to his pattern of directly/indirectly causing violence. But “he was so sorry 9 people died at his festival”. STFU, no he wasn’t https://t.co/5pwsRIFap1

In addition, during his Astroworld concert in November 2021, overcrowding caused the deaths of eight people. As a result of the incident, lawsuits were filed against him and Astroworld.
At least 8 deaths have been confirmed at the opening night of Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival, Houston Fire Department officials report.

Although Scott was not arrested during the club nebula incident, he is now wanted by the New York City Police Department for assault and criminal mischief charges.
