Kali Uchis Performs New Hit “Moonlight” at Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Kali Uchis steals the show at Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performing her hit single “Moonlight” from her new album, Red Moon In Venus, which was released on March 3.

The star’s incredible voice and amazing track “Moonlight” come together perfectly in her Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance. In an all-black outfit accessorized with gems, sparkles, and feathers, Kali Uchis looks stylish under the spotlight.

“Moonlight” is one of the multiple teaser songs that led up to the drop of Red Moon In Venus. Since its February 24 release, the song has surpassed 9 million Spotify streams. The lyrics for “Moonlight” are a mix of Spanish and English, falling in line with the rest of Uchis’ discography.

Red Moon In Venus is a mix of R&B and pop and maintains a dreamy elegance through each track. A review by The Guardian states that “here Uchis couches her velveteen mood pieces in pillow-soft R&B, creating a suite of songs luxuriant enough to bathe in.”

The soft, sultry poses for the “Moonlight” photoshoot perfectly encapsulate the feeling of the song. The mood Uchis aimed to capture is definitely getting through to fans as well.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance isn’t all we’re getting. Starting this May, Kali Uchis is bringing Red Moon In Venus on tour. Dates and locations for the North American tour have been announced, and tickets are currently available for purchase.
