Avril Lavigne and Tyga Cause Frenzy With New Romance at Paris Fashion Week
After weeks of speculation, Avril Lavigne and Tyga have left fans confirming that they are in some type of romantic relationship.

The pair have been friends for a long time and were “strictly platonic up until recently,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly.
Rumors that the 38-year-old singer behind hits like “Sk8er Boi” and “Complicated” and the 33-year-old rapper who has released songs including “Taste” with Offset emerged last month when they were seen hugging in front of Nobu in Los Angeles. They were also seen together on March 1 in Paris while arriving at a party which was held by actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

On Monday, March 6, the relationship was confirmed while attending the Mugler X Hunter Schafer Party at Paris Fashion Week. This comes only two weeks after Lavigne’s split from Mod Sun. They were together for more than two years and were engaged since March 2022 when Mod Sun proposed to Lavigne.
Before her relationship with Mod Sun, Lavigne was in a relationship with the lead singer and guitarist for Sum 41, Deryck Whibley, and she was also with the lead singer for Nickelback, Chad Kroeger. Tyga has a 10-year-old child with his ex, Blac Chyna, and he has also been linked to many celebrities in the past, including Kylie Jenner, Iggy Azalea, and Bella Poarch.
