Sabrina Carpenter Announces Four New Songs Coming This Friday
On March 15, Sabrina Carpenter announced that the deluxe tracks to her most recent album, Emails I Can’t Send, will be released this Friday, March 17.
On March 10, the singer/songwriter took to Instagram to share a heartfelt and exciting post. Carpenter shared another image from the album cover’s photoshoot. In the caption, she thanked her fans for embracing the album, “for those of you that found a little piece of yourselves in this album, think of these few new songs as my sincerest thank you to you.” She continued thanking her fans before revealing that the deluxe tracks to the album will be released on March 17, “Its not a follow up to anything, it’s just a few songs that belong in the emails world for those of u who were kind enough to make this record feel so welcome and heard. emails i can’t send fwd: coming to you March 17!”
On March 15, the entertainer took to Twitter to share four photos. In the first three photos, the performer poses in a mint-green tiled bathroom while wearing a two-piece white-lace set. In the fourth image, the deluxe tracks’ titles are revealed. Adding to the original album’s 13-song tracklist are four brand new songs: “opposite,” “Feather,” “Lonesome,” and “things i wish you said.” The caption to the post read, “friday,” followed by an envelope emoji and a link to her website to pre-save/pre-add the album.

The former Disney star released Emails I Can’t Send (2022) to widespread praise. The pop album took a confessional songwriting route, with Carpenter expressing how she felt in the recent years about her romantic relationships and the media storms that followed them; a topic she covered in her standalone single “Skin,” released just the year prior. Billboard ranked the album No.19 on their year-end staff list of The 50 Best Albums of 2022, while Rolling Stones placed it at No.44 on their list of The 100 Best Albums of 2022.
While we are unsure what the new songs will sound like or be about, the titles are certainly intriguing. But given the original album tracks, we are sure we are in for a treat. While fans wait to hear the new tracks, they can watch her latest music video below.
