Take a Ride Through LA With Bad Bunny in a New Edition of Carpool Karaoke
James Corden took a ride through Los Angeles with help from a special guest, Bad Bunny, in a new installment of Carpool Karaoke. The two belted out some of Bad Bunny’s hits, and Corden learned about his favorite songs, his prior artistic visions, and the meaning behind his stage name.
Bad Bunny always knew that he wanted to go by something other than his birth name, Benito, and to him, he feels that “no matter how bad a bunny is, it’s still cute,” and thus the stage name Bad Bunny was born.

More importantly, he planned on taking a page out of DJ Marshmello’s book, which is never to show his face. The Puerto Rican sensation mentioned he wanted to hide behind a mask and give off this “mysterious” persona. His main reason for doing so was that he never wanted to be “really famous.” Now, he’s the most streamed artist in the world; it looks like life had other plans.
Corden and Bad Bunny kicked off the playlist with “Dakiti,” a single by Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez from his 2020 album El Último Tour Del Mundo.
They then jammed out to Cardi B’s 2018 hit, “I Like It,” on which he and J Balvin were featured. Corden also asked about Bad Bunny’s recent impromptu concert in Puerto Rico, where he and another artist performed on top of a gas station.

Of course, the Carpool Karaoke playlist wouldn’t be complete without the party song of the year, “Tití Me Preguntó.” After a quick drawing contest, the two sang along to Ariana Grande’s “Break Free.” Bad Bunny revealed that this song is the “English song that I most know.” He starts explaining how he listens to English music but quickly cuts off his statement to belt out the chorus.

Bad Bunny then revisited his stint with the WWE and took Corden in the ring with him to teach Corden some moves with the help of Rey Mysterio. He recalls his in-ring debut as “one of the best days of my life.”
The two sang along to Harry Styles’ “As It Was,” bringing their LA ride to a close. In less than 24 hours, the segment garnered over 2 million views, and fans couldn’t get enough of the exchange between the two.
