Taylor Swift Is Dazzling the World on Her Eras Tour
Kicking it off with 44 songs in one night, the Eras Tour is bringing Taylor Swift even more worldwide attention, with record-breaking landmarks in her career.
Taylor began the Eras Tour this past Friday in Glendale, Arizona. People were celebrating the start of the highly anticipated tour, and the star validated everyone’s excitement, going above and beyond with her performance and visuals. This includes a hyper-realistic visual of Taylor diving into a pool of water and swimming under the stage.

The Eras Tour reflects Taylor’s entire career, and there’s a lot of music to show for it. This includes songs that she released when she was 15 up to ones that she released recently. Since her 2006 entrance into the music world, Taylor has released 12 albums. In 2021, she began reclaiming the rights to her older music by re-recording and re-releasing albums, starting off with Fearless (Taylor’s Version). The nostalgic look into her past has revamped many fans’ love for the artist.

But releasing old music hasn’t stopped her current projects. The star never stops creating and continuously furthers her music career beyond what is imaginable. In the middle of re-releasing her old albums, Swift released a brand new album, Midnights. Midnights is Swift’s twelfth album and was released with insane success.
With a setlist of 44 songs, Taylor still can’t fit all her hits into one night. Even this huge tour can’t stop her, releasing four new tracks in honor of it.

As one of the biggest singers in the world, it can seem like Taylor has reached the peak of the music industry. But, of course, she never stops impressing us. Thanks to the popularity of the Eras Tour, Taylor broke her own record yesterday. With the biggest streaming day on Spotify, she brought in 67 million streams.
Luckily social media allows for constant posts, live streams, and more to keep non-concert-goers in the loop. This is definitely helpful, especially considering the Ticketmaster mayhem caused by the sheer amount of people trying to buy tickets at once.
But Taylor’s fans outside of the US are awaiting the announcement of her international tour dates. Hopefully, their path to the Eras Tour will have fewer obstacles.
