Longtime superstar couple Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are reportedly engaged, and people couldn’t be happier.
Engagement rumors first began to surface last month when Palvin was seen at the Mammoth Film Festival with a diamond on her ring finger. Now, a source has revealed that the two are officially engaged. On Tuesday, the source told Entertainment Tonight, “They have been showing off her ring to people and are so happy. They’re always very in love with one another and by each other’s sides, but they’re even happier than usual. They can’t wait to start this new chapter together.”
The former Disney star and supermodel began dating in 2018. In a 2019 interview with W Magazine, the two detailed what can only be described as a modern love story. According to Palvin, Sprouse slid into her DM’s after she followed him. When describing the encounter, Sprouse shared, “I was like, ‘Hey, I don’t know if you’re in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here’s my number.’ And she didn’t message me for six months.”
Palvin then disclosed that she didn’t respond immediately because she needed to take time for herself. In the interview, the model explained, “I knew I wasn’t in a good mindset at the time, and maybe deep inside I knew that it could be something more.” The two stars eventually met in person in China, where Sprouse was working on a shoot. According to them both, the rest is history.
Sprouse and Palvin make a picture-perfect couple together, regularly stunning on their many red-carpet appearances and sharing sweet posts on Instagram. Fans of both the actor and the supermodel adore them together and have been speculating on their potential engagement for some time.
