Harry Styles and BLACKPINK’s Rosé Met Backstage in Seoul at Love On Tour
Global superstar Harry Styles ran into South Korean girl group BLACKPINK’s Rosé this past Monday, March 20.
Styles is on his ongoing Love On Tour endorsing two of his albums: 2019’s Fine Line and 2022’s Harry’s House. His latter album garnered critical acclaim and has also won Album of the Year recently at this year’s Grammy Awards. The tour began on September 4, 2022 and is scheduled to end on July 22. Styles is currently fulfilling the Asia portion of the tour.
Rosé is on the World Tour for BLACKPINK’s album Born Pink, which debuted in September of last year and is scheduled to end on June 17. BLACKPINK is also relishing in their own success with the music video for Jennie’s song “Solo,” achieving 900 million views on YouTube. BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is also planning to make her solo debut on March 31, and it has been christened with the drop of her new single “Flower.”
At the Love On Tour concert, Rosé shared a clip of her and Jennie singing along to Styles’ hit “As It Was,” which was the lead single from Harry’s House and became widely acclaimed by music pundits. Post-show, Styles, along with Rosé, took a photo together smiling as Styles gave a thumbs up. In Rosé’s Instagram story she captioned, “Yayyy thank you @harrystyles for coming to Korea.”
