Olaplex: Everything You Need to Know About the New Lash Serum
Olaplex just announced that it’s dropping its very first eyelash growth product, the Lashbond Serum. This new Lash serum also contains Olaplex’s signature bond-building formula and will be available in stores starting March 31.
The hype around Olaplex is no surprise. The brand is a cult favorite as it consistently delivers highly-rated haircare products. The results from No. 3 Hair Perfector, for instance, were only something you could expect from reputed salons, but now, it’s a mainstay for many. This week, the brand is releasing its first-ever lash growth treatment: the Lashbond Building Serum.
JuE Wong, the CEO of Olaplex, states, “As a leader in prestige haircare, we’ve introduced new Olaplex innovation with a breakthrough formula for lashes that are clinically proven to deliver noticeable results in as little as two weeks.” Thanks to their famous proprietary bond-building technology, the brand made a lasting impact on its consumers and plans to do the same with its new lash product.
Wong also mentions the formula is designed to help the skin barrier at the lash line, which creates “an environment for healthier, denser, and longer-looking lashes.” However, the Lashbond Serum also debuts the brand’s new peptide complex technology, which supports lash retention and natural growth. It will also help the appearance of longer, denser lashes overall.
Furthermore, the formula contains hyaluronic acid and biotin, which aids in retaining moisture and strength. The Lashbond serum can be applied twice daily, even for the most sensitive eyes. And as if it couldn’t get any better, the serum is vegan and free of silicone, parabens, and sulfate.
To ensure effective performance and safety of the product, Olaplex “performed independent third-party clinical trials,” which included ophthalmologist testing too. Wong also claims that the new Lashbond serum “did just as well” as the top prescription lash serums.
With every new release, the bar seems to only get higher for Olaplex. It will be fascinating to observe how the expanding demographic for lash growth products will react to the Lashbond Serum, which asserts to be equally effective as prescribed serums.
Olaplex’s Lashbond Building Serum is available for purchase at Olaplex, Sephora, and Ulta starting March 31.
