Rina Sawayama Announces Second Tour for Hold The Girl Album
Rina Sawayama announced dates for her Hold The Girl: Reloaded Tour shortly after her acting debut in John Wick: Chapter 4.
Sawayama initially released the album in September of 2022 and began touring in October of that year. She became a household name with the release of her first studio album, Sawayama, leading to her sophomore album Hold the Girl. Her loyal fanbase praised the album since the release of her leading single “This Hell.”
Although she already toured once with her album, the Reloaded tour is set to feature newer costumes and sets. The tour will also coincide with summer festivals that the singer will feature in, and will take place from June through October. Pre-sale opened on Wednesday, while the general sale will open on Friday.

Sawayama is set to perform 12 concerts in total, including festival lineups. She is set to perform at Lollapalooza in San Francisco and the Governors Ball Festival in Queens, New York. Among some of these festivals are other musicians such as NIKI and Beabadoobee.
The Reloaded tour isn’t the only thing the artist has been up to. Sawayama was recently featured as a character in John Wick: Chapter 4. As her acting debut, Sawayama played a side character named Akira Shimazu. Director Chad Stahelski and star Keanu Reeves reportedly scouted her for the film after watching her music videos for songs “XS” and “Bad Friend.”
Sawayama also released a track for the film, titled “An Eye For An Eye.” The track dropped a few days before the movie debuted in theaters last week. In the film, Sawayama expressed gratitude. She told USA Today, “It’s really crazy – I feel very privileged (that) this is my first film.”
She has also promoted the film countlessly on her Instagram, hyping it up and sharing her pride in her acting debut. “I’m so excited for you to finally see the movie, it’s so good,” she writes in one post.
Fans can buy tickets for the Reloaded tour on Sawayama’s official website, and stream “An Eye For An Eye” on Spotify and Apple Music.
