For the seventh season, the hosts of the hit series, Antoni Porowski, Bobby Berk, Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, and Karamo Brown, are heading to New Orleans. The trailer is full of lighthearted humor and emotional moments consistent with the series’ previous seasons. Although the full details of each makeover are not revealed in the short trailer, it does give an excellent sneak peek at the stories that will likely have viewers both laughing and crying while they watch.

The trailer opens with shots of the Fab Five dancing in the streets of New Orleans. Short clips then unveil a Queer Eye first, which is the makeover of an entire fraternity. According to the trailer, the group will also provide makeovers for diverse New Orleans locals who each face their own set of personal challenges.

The synopsis for this season states, “From beignets to ben-yays! The Emmy Award-winning Queer Eye is back for a seventh season. Grab your beads and let the good times roll as The Fab Five bring some sparkle and sass to New Orleans and transform the lives of residents who are in need of a fresh start.”

In addition to the trailer, Netflix also shared several first-look images from this season to prepare fans for its upcoming release. The photos depict the Fab Five in action, working intimately with this season’s heroes to encourage their personal growth.

The first episode of Queer Eye aired on Netflix in 2018, over a decade after the original series premiered on Bravo in 2003. Since its premiere, Queer Eye has become a feel-good classic, building a strong fan base and receiving widespread critical acclaim. In fact, the show has been nominated for 29 Emmy Awards, winning in categories such as Outstanding Structured Reality Program several years in a row.

Season seven of Queer Eye will feature seven episodes telling brand-new stories that are guaranteed to warm viewers’ hearts. The latest installment of the beloved series is set to premiere on Netflix on May 12. Until then, watch the full trailer for the latest season below.
