Taylor Swift Reaches New Career High on Spotify
For the first time in her nearly two-decade-spanning career, Taylor Swift has surpassed 85 million Spotify monthly listeners.
As if 2023 has not been a blockbuster year already for the Grammy-winning superstar, Swift has reached a new Spotify personal record. Swift has accumulated over 85 million monthly listeners on the music streaming giant. It is the most listeners she has ever had since her catalog went on the platform.
Many took to social media to celebrate Swift’s grand accomplishment.

It is not any surprise the “Anti-Hero” singer has amassed so many monthly singers. This past March, she kicked off her massively successful Eras Tour. For three hours, she performed 44 songs from her iconic discography, taking the audience through each “era” in her career since she debuted in 2006. From diving head first, fearless into the stage to singing her biggest hits, she proved she is an unstoppable force.
The tour has gotten acclaim from critics and fans alike. The next day, Swift set another record for the best streaming day ever for an artist, accumulating over 67 million streams in one day.

In celebration of the tour, the “Lavender Haze” singer released four songs the night before. In her mission to re-record her older songs, she dropped “Eyes Open (Taylor’s Version),” “Safe & Sound (featuring Joy Williams and John Paul White) (Taylor’s Version),” and “If This Was A Movie (Taylor’s Version).” Also, she unveiled the fan-favorite unreleased track “All Of The Girls You Loved Before.”
Following the tour beginning, the “Midnights” star became the first living artist to simultaneously chart seven albums within the Billboard 200 top 40 positions. To honor her accomplishments, iHeartRadio recently gave her their highly-coveted Innovator Award.
The megastar continues to reach a new career-high every day. We would not be surprised if she set even more records in the near future. With the success of the Midnights (2022) album and The Eras Tour, all we know is that Swift is unstoppable. For more news on her, click here.
