The Jonas Brothers Debut New Single on Saturday Night Live
As they prepare to release their new album next month, the Jonas Brothers have been making their rounds on various series and teasing new singles that already have fans excited. Most recently, the brothers returned to Saturday Night Live for the third time (the fifth time for Nick) and performed two songs off THE ALBUM.
In between hosting and skits with guest host Molly Shannon, the Jonas Brothers took the stage for the first time to perform “Waffle House.” “Waffle House” is the second single of THE ALBUM, which was released this past Friday.

The single takes fans back to the boys’ early days of their post-show meetings that took place at none other than the Waffle House. “Waffle House” is also the catalyst for the brothers’ new sound, which is very reminiscent of the late ‘80s and Bee Gees.
Later on in the night, the Jonas Brothers were joined by Jon Bellion and Kirk Franklin to debut the third single, “Walls.” Although many fans expected to hear “Wings,” released a while ago, “Walls” was the best option. For nearly five minutes, fans were given chills by the performance.
That was the best Jonas Brothers performance I’ve ever seen. I’m literally so speechless.— Michelle (@dancermichelle8) April 9, 2023
Many fans called it one of the best SNL musical performances, while others mentioned it could be one of the Jonas Brothers’ best performances. Everything from the lyrics and the addition of the choir to the production and the brothers’ passion and intensity made this performance something special. It was top-notch, mature, and something we had not seen from them before.

If this is just a fraction of what to expect with this new era, it is shaping to be one of the best chapters yet for the brothers and their fans. This album is expected to discuss where they’re at now in their lives as husbands, brothers, and fathers, with songs like “Little Bird.”
The Jonas Brothers are set to release THE ALBUM on May 12, which will be available on all streaming platforms.
