The trailer sees the familiar group at high speed to stop the new danger. With Daddy Yankee’s “Gasolina” playing in the background, the trailer starts with the group driving the cobblestone roads of Italy to prevent a bomb from rolling through Rome.
Dante (Jason Momoa) plans to use a bomb to blow up the Vatican. The Furious group has wronged him, and he is out for revenge. The trailer goes from the Italian setting to a wild party scene to the Arctic and more. There are large races, fights, shootouts, cars, motorcycles, and jet skis. The trailer displays the value of going big and fighting for what matters.

Fast X will follow the notorious group around the world. After defeating drug kingpin Hernan Reyes in Fast Five, the group now has to face Reyes’ son Dante. Dom (Diesel) and his family will go around the world, from Rome to London to Antarctica, to stop Dante’s plans. The key to Dante’s plans is Don’s son (Leo Abelo Perry). The film will have returning cast members such as Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Jason Statham. The film will also bring new stars, like Jason Momoa, Brie Larson, and Rita Moreno.

This is the first film in the franchise with director Louis Leterrier. Fast X originally had Justin Lin as its director, who has previously directed five films in the franchise. However, Lin left the project early due to creative differences, but he is still in the credits as producer and co-writer.
Leterrier has previously directed Transporter Films, Clash of the Titans, and Now You See Me, amongst other films. Also, Leterier has recently confirmed that he will also be directing the upcoming eleventh Fast and Furious film. Including Leterrier, the franchise has had six directors. Only time will tell the vision that Leterrier brings.
