MaXXXine: New First-Look Photo Has Arrived
MaXXXine, the third installment of Mia Goth and Ti West’s horror franchise, has unveiled a first-look photo of Maxine Minx (Mia Goth) alongside a famous face in the music industry: Halsey.
While we all anxiously await the looks for this year’s Met Gala, the first Monday in May features a different Hollywood starlet: Maxine Minx. The image features Goth with heavy eye makeup, and donning blonde hair and bleached eyebrows. She wears a green jacket that reads “Maxine” over a shimmery dress and fishnet stockings. She holds a cigarette in her hand while strutting the streets.

In addition to Goth, she is joined by Halsey, who rocks her iconic short hair and a fur coat. A24 took to Twitter to write, “The life she deserves.” The caption pays homage to a famous line in X, where Maxine declares, “I will not accept a life I do not deserve.”

Goth’s character in films X and Pearl find Maxine chasing the glamorous life that she has seen in the movies, but her “ambitions, temptations, and repressions all collide.” The teaser photo proves that Maxine is well on her way to superstardom.

The film, MaXXXine, is rumored to deal with the dangerous world of underground filmmaking. The star-studded cast features Mia Goth (Pearl), Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown), Moses Sumney (Creed), Michelle Monaghan (True Detective), Bobby Cannavale (Nine Perfect Strangers), Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), Halsey (Americana), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), and Kevin Bacon (Footloose).
