Dianna Agron Reveals the Truth About Her Relationship With Taylor Swift
In a recent interview, Dianna Agron cleared the air regarding the decade-old rumor that she and Taylor Swift dated. Speculation began when the actress was included in the liner notes for Taylor Swift’s song “22.”

In the interview, Agron was asked if she was the inspiration for Taylor Swift’s hit song “22.” She responded, “Me? Oh, if only…That’s more because of a friendship than being the inspiration for the song. But I would not be the person to ask about that. I cannot claim that!”
The actress was also asked outright about the rumors that she and Swift were in a romantic relationship. Agron replied, “That is so interesting. I… I mean, there have been many stories about my dating life that are so wildly untrue. That’s funny.”
Rumors swirled online regarding Swift and Agron as the actress was mentioned in the liner notes for “22.” The notes also included Ashley Avignone, Claire Kislinger, and Selena Gomez. Swift and Agron were friends in 2012 and were seen together on occasions such as Shirley MacLaine’s 78th birthday. The pair also celebrated Agron’s birthday with a circus-themed costume party.

On stage at the 2014 American Music Awards, Swift shouted out friends like Lorde, Sam Smith, Selena Gomez, and Agron while receiving the Dick Clark Award for Excellence. However, the pair have not been seen together recently.
Agron cleared the air about her relationship with Swift, but some fans are not convinced. Many die-hard fans of Swift have noted that Agron did not explicitly say no when asked whether the stars were involved romantically. Some fans, however, are confused as to why people are still speculating about the relationship.
