NBC announced the star-studded red chair lineup for Season 24 of The Voice, which features coaches old and new ready to battle it out for a winning team.

With the finale of The Voice Season 23 approaching, NBC released the coaching lineup for the next season, which is set to premiere this fall. One of the largest changes in this red chair lineup is the absence of long-time coach Blake Shelton. The country star, a coach since the series’ first season in 2011, will take a break from the competition.

Shelton first announced that he was leaving The Voice on Instagram in October. In his heartfelt post, the singer shared, “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me.”

Blake Shelton leaves some huge shoes to fill, but NBC has built an impressive group of coaches for the new season that will not disappoint.

The latest addition to the coaching team is Reba McEntire. McEntire is no stranger to the coach’s chair. The country singer served as a Battle Advisor for Team Blake in Season 1, and her close work with Shelton on the series over the years makes her an excellent replacement following his departure.

Another coach in the lineup is Niall Horan, who is returning to The Voice for a second season after joining the series for Season 23.

Additionally, Gwen Stefani will return to the series after a brief hiatus. This is Stefani’s first time competing without her husband, Blake Shelton, as a rival. In Season 19, Team Gwen took home the ultimate victory with Carter Rubin, and after some time off, Stefani is likely ready for another win.

John Legend will be the fourth and final coach in the red chair lineup for Season 24. Like Stefani, Legend is returning to The Voice after taking a break. The musician was a fan-favorite coach during his seven seasons with the series, and Team John won in Season 16 with Maelyn Jarmon. After enjoying time with his family, including a new baby, Legend is back for more, poised to battle it out against the tough competition.

It’s safe to say that the upcoming season’s coaches’ lineup is nothing short of legendary. With such talented, experienced, and passionate coaches, Season 24 of The Voice is set to be spectacular.
