Continuing the Endless Summer Vacation era, Cyrus revealed the next single will be the fan-favorite, “Jaded.” She took to Youtube to release a teaser video to drum up the anticipation.

The video begins with a closeup of Cyrus’ hands on a white bed before the words “JADED” appear on the screen. In the next shot, while wearing nothing but blue jeans, she uses her arms to cover her bare chest while smiling at the camera. Then, “TOMORROW” appears on the screen. The beginning instrumental of the song plays over the clip.

“Jaded” marks the third single from the Endless Summer Vacation album. In the pop ballad, the seasoned performer sings about the regrets of a former relationship. Throughout the song, she reflects on the failed aspects between herself and her partner that doomed their relationship. In one of the song’s most cutting lines, she sings, “Now I’ve had time to think it over/ We’re much older and the bone’s too big to bury.”

Many fans took to Twitter and shared their excitement.

Endless Summer Vacation has been enjoying immense success since its release in March. The 13-track album debuted on the Billboard 200 charts at No. 3, selling an impressive 119k units in its first week.

The album was preceded by the release of its first single, “Flowers.” Released in January, the song topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts for eight non-consecutive weeks. It became Cyrus’ first number-one since “Wrecking Ball” in 2013 and helped her break the Spotify record for most weekly streams for a song. Due to its popularity, Cyrus then released the demo version of the song.

The second single, “River,” had its music video premiere on the album’s release day. In the dance-and-synth-pop song, Cyrus sings about the euphoria felt being with her new partner. The song peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 31.

Given the quality of her recent videos, we cannot wait to see what the rockstar has in store for “Jaded.” Endless Summer Vacation has been a blockbuster album since its release, and it has the potential to be her best music era yet. For more Cyrus-centric news, click here
