Brand New Season of Loki Will Come to Disney Plus Soon
A new season of Loki will premiere on Disney+ on October 6.
The first season of Loki was released on Disney+ in June 2021. The story followed Loki as he is sent to the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA) after stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019) and is forced to help catch a dangerous variant version of himself. The timeline is a bit confusing, as we know, Loki dies at the hands of Thanos in Infinity War, but in this alternate reality, he is still alive because of the alternate timeline he created in Endgame.

Marvel has pushed a bunch of its 2023 releases back, and Loki is one of them. We have not gotten a trailer for season two yet, but filming was finished in October 2022. Loki’s character was also teased in the post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Disney did not release an official trailer for Loki Season 2 yet, but we got a small glimpse into Disney’s 2023 trailer. We got to see the God of Mischief and Mobius wearing suits. “A little over the top, don’t you think?” Mobius asks.
And that’s all we really get to know about the plot of the second season for now, aside from the footage released at the D23 Expo 2022 in September. In the footage, Loki clues Mobius in on what went down with He Who Remains (Jonathan Major) in the season 1 finale, revealing the villain’s face behind a wall in the TVA. He then states he saw terrible, awful things when the timeline broke apart after Sylvie attempted to kill Kang at the end of season 1.
