BTS Jungkook is to release his new single “Seven” featuring Latto this Friday, July 14. The teaser for the single’s music video was released yesterday.
Record label Big Hit Music has posted the teaser for Jungkook’s upcoming single “Seven.” Within hours of uploading the teaser to YouTube, it has gained over 3 million views and 1 million likes.

However, fans on Twitter have quickly come to the conclusion that “it’ll flop.” Some fans have even stated “we won’t be streaming this.” Others are questioning what sense it makes for the two artists to be collaborating at all.
In addition to this, fans have dropped Latto’s old tweets under chart data’s announcement of the single. Allegedly, Latto tweeted in 2016 using Asian racial slurs. It’s clear that many fans are disappointed by the collaboration with the “Big Energy” singer.
Latto is known for her catchy and smooth wordplay, while Jungkook is famous for his melodious voice. It’s clear why fans are so hesitant on this collaboration being a success.
Regardless, Latto responded to the announcement with a “s/o to da ARMY.” The rapper seems excited about the collaboration despite the backlash she’s receiving.
