Tinashe Announces New Single ‘Talk To Me Nice’ and Teases Album
Singer Tinashe announced her new single “Talk To Me Nice” will be released on Friday. Her upcoming album marks her first solo release since 2021.
Tinashe shocked fans with a surprise announcement for her upcoming single. In a Twitter post, she revealed that “Talk To Me Nice” will be released on July 21.

She has also been teasing her upcoming album BB/ANG3L this past week on social media. On Monday, Tinashe confirmed this by retweeting a Pop Crave tweet. The post reads: “Tinashe’s new album will be titled ‘BB/ANG3L’ and its lead single is set to come out this Friday, July 21.”

Along with teasing this name in her social media bios, Tinashe has also been using it in captions accompanying various pictures of a new logo. Fans believe this symbol, which looks like a torso with angel wings and a halo, hints at a new musical and creative era.
In an interview earlier this month with That Grape Juice, Tinashe spoke about “Talk To Me Nice” and her upcoming project, speculated to be BB/ANG3L.
“I have a new song coming in July,” she stated. “So, once that new song comes out, we’re going to start the rollout into my next project, which is so exciting. I’ve been working on it for a little over maybe a year and a half now. So, it’s been cooking. So, I’m really ready to release it to the world.”
She also spoke about the sound of this project and revealed it will have no artist features.
“And in terms of sound, there’s no artist collaborations on this new project. It’s all me,” she stated. “But in terms of who’s been producing it, I’ve been working a lot with an artist called MachineDrum, who’s really amazing … And he really brought an electronic side that I loved in the production. And then I balanced that with a lot of R&B melodies and vocals. So, I hope everyone really likes it.”
Tinashe’s most recent solo project is her 2021 album 333, which she released a deluxe version of in 2022. Since then, she’s been featured on songs with many other artists, including Calvin Harris, Normani, and Shygirl. Her most recent collaboration was with KYLE in April.
