Harry Styles Releases a New Whimsical, Circus-Themed Music Video for ‘Daylight’
Harry Styles has released the official music video for “Daylight,” and the English singer-songwriter is keeping things cheerful with a whimsical, circus-themed video.
Fans of the hit singer were first able to listen to “Daylight” after the release of the 2022 album Harry’s House. On Wednesday, Styles released the song’s music video in which he debuts his fun-loving personality.
The album, which also features the Guinness World Record-breaking hit “As It Was,” quickly gained popularity amongst fans and earned Styles the Album of the Year award at the 2023 Grammys.
The video features Styles in a variety of colorful, unconventional costumes. He wears a bright yellow outfit adorned with feathers and beads in one of the video’s more whimsical scenes.
In this scene, Styles is seen flying through the air upon being shot out of a canon.
Fans of the hit singer may recognize the outfit from a series of photos taken by paparazzi while the video was in the process of being shot.
In addition, Styles is seen riding a horse, walking along a tightrope, juggling, and dodging knives. The video comes to an end with Styles falling off the tightrope as the screen goes black.
Although this is the official release of the “Daylight” music video, Styles and James Corden created a video for the song on a mere budget of $300 as part of a skit on The Late Late Show with James Corden. The artist took to Instagram to share a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the official music video shoot, which included two of the eccentric costumes he wears in the video.
“Daylight” is the fifth music video released from the Harry’s House album, and came to life just two months after the release of Styles’ “Satellite” video. The eccentric artist is currently performing on his “Love On Tour,” which will soon be coming to an end on July 22. His final show will be in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
