Beyoncé Teases New $160 Mysterious Perfume Coming This Fall
Beyoncé surprised her fans on Wednesday by unveiling a $160 mysterious perfume through a secret page on her website.
On the page, the yet-to-be-named perfume is teased in a 50 ML (1.7 oz) bottle silhouetted in shining silver against the black background. This design, crafted by Beyoncé, is also reminiscent of the artistic visuals from her Renaissance album.

The fragrance’s top notes are clementine and golden honey, a fitting scent for Queen Bey and her loyal Beyhive. The heart notes are listed as rose absolute and jasmine sambac. For the base notes, Namibian myrrh and golden amber were used.
The website additionally notes that the fragrance was “created in France,” and is “encased in art.” It is also a Beyonce.com exclusive, so as of now, it will not be available in other retailers.
Unfortunately, the Eau de Parfum is exclusively available to customers in the US and Canada, leaving international fans disappointed.
“Excuse me why is the new Beyoncé perfume only available in the US & Canada?” one fan from the UK tweeted.

Many fans also expressed frustration about the price on social media, given that she hasn’t released samples or the visual of the bottle.
“Beyonce want us to pay $160 for a perfume we can’t even smell 1st? Send me a sample, B! #RWT,” another fan wrote on Twitter.

While this release is her highest-priced perfume to date, Beyoncé is no stranger to the world of fragrances. Her series of successful perfume ventures dates back to 2010’s Heat, which was created alongside Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin of Givaudan. She later introduced other popular fragrances, such as Pulse by Bruno Jovanovic and Rise by Loc Dong.
For those interested in purchasing her upcoming fragrance, the perfume is now available for pre-order. It will begin shipping in November. According to the website, a special gift is included with the purchase while supplies last.
