The Heartstopper soundtrack for season two reportedly features a Taylor Swift song based on a review of the trailer. Fans are dying to know which song the star will feature on.

The Heartstopper trailer was reviewed by YouTuber Tyler Calvert, who is known for his reviews of movies and reactions to trailers. The full review video can be watched here.

As he was reacting to and reviewing the trailer, Calvert made a note to praise the soundtrack: “Season two is a much bigger production. It seems like they put a little more money behind it. Now we [have] songs from The 1975 and Taylor Swift, some pretty great stuff on the soundtrack.”

Some Heartstopper fans are not happy with the news, though. They shared that they think the series is “ruined." Fans also believe that the new soundtrack will pull away from the series' message and what makes the series so special in the first place.

The majority, however, are elated about Swift’s possible feature on Heartstopper, theorizing that “You Need To Calm Down” or “Paris” would be on the soundtrack.

The two-minute trailer quickly reveals what Nick, Charlie, Tao, Elle, and the rest of the gang have in store. While navigating relationships, friendships, sexualities, and school life throughout the season, the crew embarks on a trip to Paris.

The lyrics to Swift’s “Paris” are uplifting and speak of the journey and the beauty of the city – and of course romance. This song embodies Heartstopper’s second season as it takes place in the city of love. “Paris” also portrays the mood of being surrounded by friends and the moment the characters’ will be able to look back on and remember fondly.

"You Need To Calm Down" is actually more of an anthem for people who continue to shine despite being torn down by haters.

“You Need To Calm Down” is actually more of an anthem for people who continue to shine despite being torn down by haters.

One of the lyrics reads, “And we see you over there on the internet, comparing all the girls who are killing it, but we figured you out.”

These lyrics resonate with Nick’s struggles to come out to others on Heartstopper

In the trailer, Nick sees another gay couple walking the streets of Paris. We can assume that he realizes that he does not need to be perfect and can be himself despite other people’s opinions. He later goes on to hold Charlie’s hand.

It is clear why Swift's songs "You Need To Calm Down" and "Paris" are the top picks for fans.
