Cardi B may be in legal trouble after throwing a microphone at a fan who tossed a drink at her during a performance in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The Grammy winning singer was performing her hit “Bodak Yellow” at an outdoor set at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas, on Saturday, when a fan suddenly threw a drink at her. In what seems to be a moment of anger, Cardi B proceeded to forcefully throw her microphone in an attempt to strike the fan. Cardi B, who was dressed in a bright orange dress, appeared to be shocked when she was hit with the beverage. The singer made a series of what appeared to be aggressive comments toward the fan, however, they were inaudible in footage from the incident. Security quickly went into action and escorted the fan, who was in the front row, away from the venue.

Although Cardi B was clearly bothered by the situation, the rapper chose to continue her performance with her usual level of energy and enthusiasm. In addition, she took to Twitter where she posted a video of the incident. She captioned the tweet with some harsh words directed toward the fan.

However, this is not the first time the singer has thrown a microphone at someone. According to Metro, the night prior to the concert Cardi B allegedly hurled her microphone at a DJ at Drai’s Beachclub. Fams speculated the DJ cut off the singer’s songs early, causing her to throw her microphone in a moment of frustration toward the DJ.

Cardi B is not the first artist that has had items thrown at her during a performance. Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha, Drake, Kelsea Ballerini, Steve Lacy, Kid Cudi, and Pink are just a few other artists who have dealt with similar encounters with concert attendees. Although it has been difficult to understand the intentions of fans throwing items at artists, it has left the artists injured and frustrated.
