Former Disney star Laura Marano has recently announced her debut album I May Be An Actress, But I Can’t Fake How I Feel, coming out Tuesday, September 15.

In conjunction with the announcement, Laura Marano reached out to her fans via Twitter, stating, “I’m so excited/nervous/anxious/ready for you to hear this album” paired with crying and heart emojis.

A few weeks before the official announcement, in a tweet about the anniversary of her first tour, The Royal Engagement actress remarked, “I am literally DAYS away from finishing my debut album.”

Due to this and other tweets, many fans began eagerly preparing for Marano’s debut album. Many fans have praised Marano for all of her accomplishments as well as happiness for her new album.

Marano continues to grow as an artist and show sides of herself that her fans haven’t heard before. As seen in her single “The Valley” and as fans expect in her upcoming debut album I May Be An Actress, but I Can’t Fake How I Feel.

Marano shed some light on the inspiration behind her single “The Valley” on The Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

In the episode, Marano states she is a “complete valley girl,” who was raised and lived in the valley in California.

The idea for the single occurred after her relationship ended once they stopped communicating altogether. Marano was in a long-distance relationship.

In order to deal with the breakup, she “dove straight into work” and thus, “The Valley” was born.
