Eilish’s single “Happier Than Ever” hit one billion Spotify streams back in May. Now, she has been featured as one of the first guests on Spotify’s new “Billions Club” series. In her video, Eilish discussed how personal the song is to her. She expressed gratitude towards her fans for connecting with the song and making it such a hit. To celebrate, the singer put treats on each of her award plaques and allowed her dog, Shark, to eat the treats off of them. Eilish’s main message in the video was her appreciation for her dedicated fans.
When describing “Happier Than Ever” in 10 seconds or less, she stated, “It’s as if you had a page of your journal that’s about somebody ripped out and then read to a billion people.”
“Happier Than Ever” is clearly a fan favorite. The release is even popular among critics and music reviewers. Rolling Stone ranked the single No. 1 in a list of all of Eilish’s singles to date. The music video can be watched below.
The artist is also praised by fellow celebrities. Her ability to convey her emotions in a genuine way connects to many listeners. Margot Robbie revealed that Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” on the Barbie movie soundtrack made her cry.
