Millie Bobby Brown Steps Into a Promising Future Beyond the Beloved Stranger Things Series
With the fifth and final season of the Stranger Things looming on the horizon, Millie Bobby Brown expressed her readiness to move on from her beloved character, Eleven.
The sci-fi horror drama series Stranger Things first premiered mid-summer of 2016. Since the pilot episode, Netflix has released four seasons totaling 34 episodes. Season four of the popular series ended in July 2022. In February 2022, the Duffer Brothers wrote a letter accompanying the season four poster.
In their letter, they wrote, “Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four or five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but — as you’ll soon see for yourselves — we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; season 5 will be the last.”

While the SAG-AFTRA and Writer’s Guild strikes continue to mask Hollywood, the fifth installment of Stranger Things will likely hit fans’ screens from late 2025 to early 2026.
Duffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then — over and out. #wgastrong

As writing and production take a halt, Brown has already begun her acceptance of the finale and expressed how she is ready to move past the series. She noted that the series’ final season will act as a high school graduation for her. Brown began her filming iconic role as Eleven when she was 11 years old. The actress is now 19.
Since the series has such a special place in her heart and has been such a huge factor in her life, Brown reflected, “It’s like senior year. You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own life.”
With the Hollywood strikes still in full effect, the actress has invited more privacy into her life. She and her partner, Jacob Hurley Bongiovi, have decided to keep their relationship and wedding details private to keep precious and memorable moments intimate between the two. The newly engaged couple announced their exciting news in April.
As for other developments in Brown’s life, she expressed how she enjoyed letting the public see and share her interests. One of these exciting new developments is her new fragrance, ‘Wildly Me.’ ‘Wildly Me’ will be available on August 22 for purchase following the waitlist on August 14. The fragrance will be available on her clean makeup brand’s website, Florence by Mills Beauty, which launched in 2019.
Brown is also publishing her debut book, Nineteen Steps, which is coming out in September. The book’s overview closes:
“Nineteen Steps is a deeply affecting, mesmerizing page-turner inspired by the author’s family history. An epic story of longing, loss, and secrets, Millie Bobby Brown’s propulsive debut introduces an unforgettable, brave young woman and boldly portrays the strength in the power of love.”
Brown then offered her personal connection to the book, and where she drew inspiration: “Inspired by my Nanny Ruth, this book is very personal and close to my heart. I grew up listening to stories about her time living through the war. I’m honored to keep her story alive.”
Nineteen Steps is available for pre-order here.
Though the final chapter of Stranger Things looms heavy in fans’ minds, Brown’s journey and success in entertainment will continue to blossom. To see the actress’ first star-studded performances, watch the Netflix series here.
