Chris Evans and Alba Baptista Marry in a Private Wedding Ceremony
Chris Evans and Alba Baptista tied the knot at their Boston-area home over the weekend.
The Captain America star and Portuguese actress made sure to maintain their ceremony low-key, as they made sure the guests signed an NDA and phones were confiscated. The guest list included the Avenger Clan, Evans’ Marvel co-stars, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Hemsworth, as well as actors John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.
The couple have been reportedly dating for over a year, sparking relationship rumors in November 2022. Insiders claim that the Marvel alumni and the Warrior Nun actress “are in love,” stating that “Chris has never been happier.”
They first went Instagram-official on Valentine’s Day after the actor posted a series of PDA-filled snaps to his Instagram story. Other photos the actor posted recently featured them skiing and kissing in the car.
While Evans has built a successful and long-lasting role as Marvel’s Captain America, Baptista has established a pretty impressive acting career.
She is known for her role in the Drama/Comedy film Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and has also won awards such as the European Shooting Star Award at the Berlin Film Festival and an award for Best Actress at the Festival Iberico de Cine. Alba was also part of the IMDb’s Top 10 Breakout Stars of 2020. Besides that, Batista has also taken roles in Portuguese films.
While keeping their relationship discreet, Chris Evans recently opened up about his personal desires. He candidly expressed his excitement to start a family, stating, “That’s absolutely something I want a wife, kids, building a family.”
Evans continued by expressing his reflection, “Whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them admit it wasn’t the work they did that they are most proud of; it was about the relationships, the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”
Evans, 42, highlighted the significance of these enduring connections, expressing, “It’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important.”
Seeking reference from his own life, which is filled with traditions and ceremonies, he expressed his enthusiasm for creating such memorable moments by stating, “I love the idea of tradition and ceremony; I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that, I can’t think of anything better.
