The ‘Ice Spice Munchkins’ Recipe Is Out
Fall vibes are more than just pumpkin as Ice Spice puts a munchkin in her new Dunkin’ drink. Sweet tooth coffee lovers, watch out.
On September 13, Dunkin’ Donuts released their “Ice Spice Munchkins” drink in collaboration with VMA Best New Artist, Ice Spice. Leading up to the release, Ice Spice and fellow brand ambassador Ben Affleck built anticipation through amusing promotional skits. Audiences saw the two playfully interact while coming up with a name for the new sweet drink. With the rapper’s fans being called munchkins, it was a match made in heaven.
Following its release, the “Ice Spice Munchkins” recipe was revealed. Dunkin’s limited-time beverage blends ice, liquid cane sugar, cream, coffee syrup, and, of course, pumpkin munchkins. The fall concoction is finally topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Many people were shocked by the amount of sugar in the drink as well as the lack of coffee. However, that did not stop them from trying it out.

The fall season can get competitive as many coffee brands come out with their own version of pumpkin-flavored beverages. Dunkin’ Donuts is no exception. Combining their pumpkin munchkin and frozen coffee into a sugary creation was an iconic move. Furthermore, the collaboration with Ice Spice brought along some great puns.
