In a recent episode of the web series Recess Therapy, host Julian Shapiro-Barnum sits down with the cutest life advisors: kids. The 20-year-old Grammy winner gets some relationship insights from a wise-beyond-his-years kid named Miles. The video kicks off with Rodrigo seeking Miles’ wisdom on how she can find love, and his adorable response follows, “Pick a person that looks kind.”

Miles then added, “I really hope you find love,” with a gentle touch, he placed his hand on Rodrigo’s knee.

Undoubtedly, the singer appreciated the gesture and chimed in, praising Miles as “so sweet.” This led him to drop a crucial dating tip: “The only person you can’t marry is your cousins,” Miles added, sparking laughter from Rodrigo and the web series creator.

Later in the video, Rodrigo asked Miles what happens when you marry your cousins, to which he warned, “Something bad happens to your body.”

And when it comes to desirable partner traits, Miles spilled the truth to Rodrigo.

“It cannot have bags, and it’s running, or a suitcase and is running very fast into stores and is not paying,” Miles candidly shared. “You do not want people who have baggage or steal.”

Following the success of her new album GUTS, Rodrigo’s cameo on the web series followed the drop of her second album this month. The album made a smashing entry, taking the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

“For the first few months of writing GUTS, I was dealing with a lot of noise in my head about whether it was going to be good enough or whether I could ever top what I did on SOUR,” Olivia Rodrigo shared with PEOPLE Magazine. “It adds a lot of pressure.”

Moreover, Rodrigo explained that she had to work on her thought process while writing the latest album. “I had to switch my mindset into just trying to write songs that I would like to hear on the radio and not trying to beat anything or achieve any sort of commercial success,” Rodrigo stated. “Then it became a lot more fun, and the music became a lot better.”
