Olivia Rodrigo Shares Favorites From New Album GUTS
Olivia Rodrigo releases her sophomore album GUTS, sharing which songs are her favorite.
Rodrigo gained worldwide recognition at just seventeen when she released “drivers license” back in 2020. Three years later, with multiple records and awards, she released her second album, GUTS.

Rodrigo has given insight into her top three favorite songs from her new album. She mentioned in multiple interviews how the beginning process of writing GUTS was difficult. The pressure of whether it would be as good or even better than her debut album, SOUR, was intimidating. Thankfully, her writing paid off, having GUTS‘s debut place No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and all 12 songs on the Hot 100.
Her three favorite songs are currently “All-American B*tch,” “Logical,” and “Love Is Embarrassing.”
On the TODAY Show, she revealed “All-American B*tch” to be her favorite lyric as well. “I don’t know, the one that’s really jumping out at me is — I love the line ‘I got class and integrity/ Just like a d–n Kennedy,’” she stated on NBC’s morning program. The song seems to be about fighting gender norms and trying to fit in.
Another of Rodrigo’s favorites, “Logical,” is almost the opposite of “All-American B*tch.” This is a softer piece surrounding the idea of being in an unhealthy relationship. It appears to be much more vulnerable and heartbreaking.
Lastly, “Love is Embarrassing” takes third place as she describes the song as about a guy she would plan a wedding for but never actually marry. This means that there is a bit more delusion than real love.
