Fans now have another collaboration to look forward to as Dunkin’ teases a collaboration with Taylor Swift, launching Friday in honor of National Coffee Day.

This past Tuesday, Dunkin’ teased a new collaboration on their Instagram in honor of National Coffee Day. The photo displays three hands holding ice coffees wearing multiple friendship bracelets on their wrists. However, the caption only mentions their promotion for reward members.

Speculation sparked, and fans instantly tried connecting the dots to the popstar icon, Taylor Swift. One user commented, “Not me looking at every bracelet trying to find a Taylor Swift Easter egg.” Dunkin’ releasing another celebrity project would not be a surprise, considering they launched the “Munchkin” collaboration with rapper Ice Spice earlier in the month.

The next day, Dunkin uploaded another tease on Instagram with the caption, “In honor of National Coffee Day, something is seemingly dropping this Friday,” which shocked fans. Speculation continued to spark, and Swifties were ready for it. The chain later liked a comment on that post that read, “Taylor Swift coded. Friendship bracelets? Seemingly ranch?”

In response to Pop Crave’s tweet, one user commented, “Taylor once again moving the industry.”

How is this Taylor Swift “Coded”

This potential collaboration is described as Taylor Swift “coded” because, for fans who attended the Eras Tour, it’s common to bring and trade bracelets with other fans. This had many Swifites believing that this was an official collab.

The keyword – “seemingly” in Dunkin’s Instagram caption is a reference to this viral post regarding Swift eating chicken and “seemingly ranch.”

Unfortunately for the Swifties, Dunkin announced the official collaboration with the Little Words Project on Instagram for Friday, September 29, at 8 a.m. EST. The collaboration consists of four phrases: “Ice Coffee,” “Cafecito Time,” “Eat the Donut,” and “Get Sip Done,” with beads in Dunkin’s orange and pink colors. Each bracelet has two gold charms: one with Little Words Project’s logo and one with Dunkin’s. The bracelets retail for $30 each and will only be available online at littlewordsproject.com.
