Mattel Announces New Stevie Nicks Barbie Doll
Stevie Nicks is getting the Barbie treatment. The iconic Fleetwood Mac frontwoman is the latest musician to be honored in the Barbie Music Series. Nicks is in great company, as her doll joins the likes of Gloria Estefan, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Elton John, and Tina Turner.
On Sunday, October 1, Stevie Nicks unveiled her Barbie doll during a show at Madison Square Garden. The doll pays homage to Fleetwood Mac’s legendary Rumours album. The band won two Grammys at the 20th Grammy Awards for Album Of The Year and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group.
The spellbinding style features the Barbie wearing a black dress with chiffon statement sleeves. In addition to the dress, the look is completed by a golden moon necklace, knee-length black boots, and a tambourine with cascading ribbons.

The “Dreams” singer took to social media to express her thoughts on Stevie Barbie. She admits to initially feeling “overwhelmed” when Mattel came to her. She states, “Of course I questioned “would she look like me? Would she have my spirit? Would she have my heart…”
Nicks ends her post on a positive note, adding,” When I look at her, I see my 27-year-old self~ All the memories of walking out on a big stage in that black outfit and those gorgeous boots come rushing back~ and then I see myself now in her face. What we have been through since 1975~ the battles we have fought, the lessons we have learned~ together. I am her and she is me. She absolutely has my heart.”
