Angelina Jolie Announces Launch of New Fashion Label Atelier Jolie
Angelina Jolie has just announced the launch of her new fashion brand, Atelier Jolie, intended for designers to collaborate, create, and redefine fashion classics.
Jolie admits that she was never fully into fashion and clothes even though she was always in the glamour world of Hollywood. Claiming, she has more books in her closet than actual clothes. The goal for Jolie is not to become a big fashion designer but to give the opportunity to others to do so. She doesn’t want her fame to overshadow the clothing.

How do you describe Jolie’s style? She gravitates towards more of a minimalist and monochromatic look with a conservative bent. She never fully focuses on what she is wearing since she rather have attention on her impact instead of her clothes. For example, he has helped many people, as she has been involved in multiple humanitarian causes for decades. Preferably, Jolie likes to shop for herself rather than have personal stylists decide what looks good on her.
Although she is not a big fan of showing off her style, Jolie has been quite the style icon over the years. Whenever she is caught in the public eye, millions of people are easily influenced by what she is wearing. This could be a reason why luxury items are currently so popular.

Another reason behind the creation of Atelier Jolie is to highlight designers who often don’t receive the credit they deserve. The question is: why buy a name-brand product when you can make it yourself even better? The brand will only be using leftover, quality vintage material and deadstock. Therefore, being able to repair items from your closet that could be revived. Or what could have potentially been thrown away, but hasn’t yet.
The brand is set to launch this fall in New York City.
