Kylie Jenner filed to have her son’s birth name, Wolf, changed to Aire Webster and was finally granted the change on September 29 of this year.

Jenner (26) and Travis Scott (32), have a second son together who was previously known as Wolf Jacques Webster. However, shortly after her son was born in 2022, Jenner stated on social media that her son’s name was being changed. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere,” Jenner stated.

According to People Magazine, Jenner had a virtual hearing to officially change her son’s name. Scott was not in attendance so the judge stated that there were no objections filed by the rapper. This was based on the fact that he was notified in a timely manner, sent no notice of objection, and had not shown up to the hearing: “There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted,” the judge announced.

Despite Jenner’s release on social media in January that her son’s name was Aire, it had not been legally changed until just last month.

Jenner told the public that she felt as if the name “Wolf” did not fit her son. She also spoke about the situation on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, stating, “I’ve officially started the process of changing my son’s name because his legal name is Wolf Webster,” she explained. “So I’m going to do Aire Webster, A-I-R-E.”

She then proceeded to share in a confessional that the postpartum was hitting her hard and that she never called her son Wolf, ever. She also mentioned that later that night she cried in the shower about it. Jenner exclaimed, “That’s not his name. What did I just do? Wolf? Someone just told me this 24 hours ago, to name my son Wolf! It wasn’t even on the list!”
