Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is estimated to have earned around $6-$7 million in first-day presales.

The announcement of the film came a day after the “Alien Superstar singer wrapped up her last tour in Kansas City, Missouri, on October 1. The world has known about Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé for a short time, only for it to gain attraction rapidly based on the increased number of presale tickets.

According to Deadline, the concert film leaked before Beyonce made it official on social media.

“News about the AMC-distributed concert docu movie leaked over the weekend before it was made official by the 32 Grammy winner on social media portal on late Sunday night. Deadline knew before anyone that the theatrical release date was Dec. 1, a post-Thanksgiving frame which is a very sleepy period at the box office,” stated Deadline.

Major cinemas such as AMC, Fandango, Cinemark, and Regal Cinemas have tickets on sale for purchase. Tickets will range between $22-28 dollars, plus additional tax for all adults, seniors, and children. According to AMC theatres, tickets will be available at numerous theaters within and outside the U.S.

Beyonce has yet to drop visuals for the songs on her Renaissance album. Eager fans’ excitement continues to grow over the film’s debut in December, as the Beyhive can anticipate the long-awaited visuals along with behind-the-scenes footage from the tour.
