Lunden Stallings Apologizes After New Racists Tweets Exposed
Lunden Stallings took to TikTok to publicly address her past racial tweets. She gave a formal apology to her audience and acknowledged her past actions.
Lunden Stallings, a TikTok star, recently had a wedding with her partner, Olivia Bennet, but had to put her honeymoon on pause due to past racial tweets resurfacing.
Most TikTokers, including the couple, incorporate Black culture into their content, such as music and popular TikTok dances created by Black creators. But they demonstrate insensitivity and ignorance about the realities of racism against the Black community.

Stallings and Bennet are known for their “outfit of the day,” and “day in the life” videos. However, a Reddit user posted past tweets of Stalling saying racial slurs. These slurs were from her own Twitter account from 2010.
Following the resurfacing of these tweets, Stallings stated that she was “completely and utterly disgusted and ashamed.” She also wanted to emphasize to the public that “I don’t want people to think that I am just sweeping this under the rug or that it’s something I’m not going to address or don’t want to address because I do want to address it. That’s not who I am.”

Stallings stated that she was disgusted by how “normal it was for me to speak that way,” both on social media and in person.” She also revealed that she has grown as an individual and “would never ever think about saying those things” again.
Later in the video, her partner voiced, “It’s truly just, like, a really unfortunate and disgusting and ignorant mistake that you made as a teenager.” She continued, “You were a kid and you were ignorant and it was wrong and shameful, and it’s so embarrassing, and I think that’s why you wanted to get rid of them because that’s not a reflection of your character, and how I know you and how so many people know you.”

Additionally, it was revealed that Stallings and Bennet had a private conversation in which Stallings took full accountability and was sorry.
The primary objective of the video was for Stallings to address this scandal and convey her apologies to the public. “I just want everyone to know, even the ones that don’t know, that I am sorry,” she continued.
