Jenna Ortega Will Return for Scream 7
Following the success of her role in Tim Burton’s Wednesday, Jenna Ortega plans to return for Scream 7.
According to The Wrap, Ortega has been committed to the role despite her busy schedule. Many fans questioned if she would be added to the movie with her new level of popularity following her role as Wednesday Addams. The question is: how is she going to manage multiple roles?

Ortega has wrapped up her new movie Beetle Juice 2, which will hit theaters September 6, 2024. However, Wednesday Season 2 has not started filming yet. Hopes to start production are being talked with Netflix.
Scream 7 is still in its early production stage. The chosen director is Christopher Landon, who has directed other films, including Happy Death Day and Freaky. No writers have been signed on yet for the film.

Scream 7 will likely be released sometime in 2025 since Scream and Scream 6 were released 15 months apart. Wednesday season 1 was filmed for seven months. Therefore, if the Scream franchise wants Ortega, she may not be opened until mid-2024.
