Justin Timberlake Does Not Want to Be Involved With Britney Spears’ New Memoir
In Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, she disclosed that she underwent an abortion upon learning of her pregnancy with Justin Timberlake’s child.
Timberlake is currently focusing on his family as exposure of his relationship with Britney Spears comes to light again, according to ET.
In an interview with ET, a source mentions that with the upcoming release of Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, the “Cry Me a River” singer is looking ahead.
“Justin has been focusing on his own family and trying not to concern himself with Britney’s memoir,” the source noted.
The source added, “In recent years, Justin has tried to be supportive of Britney from a distance. They dated so long ago, but he still has respect for her. Justin and Jessica just want everyone to grow and evolve instead of continuing to bring up the past.”

People and ET reached out to a representative for Timberlake for comment, but did not respond.
After 20 years, Brittany Spears is sharing a personal and private experience. On Tuesday, People revealed an excerpt from Spears’ book, where she claims she had an abortion after being impregnated by Timberlake in the early years of their relationship.
“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” she writes about the pregnancy in the memoir. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
She added, “If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”
The couple split after 3 years, dating from 1999 to 2002.
Spears and her second husband, Kevin Federline, are co-parents to their two sons, Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17. Timberlake married Jessica Biel in 2012 and the couple shares two sons, Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.
The memoir will be published nearly two years after Spears was released from her court-ordered conservatorship. Her 13-year-old conservatorship was terminated in November 2021 after Spears gave fervent public testimony in court in June 2021.
The pop icon’s memoir will be released on October 24.
