Kendall Jenner Channels a Mean Girls Scene in New TikTok
While visiting Ohio State University, Kendall Jenner graced her fans with a hilarious Mean Girls inspired TikTok video.
The 27-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, recreated a famous moment from Mean Girls in a new TikTok post. She chose the scene where Tina Fey’s character, Ms. Sharon Norbury, calls a meeting of female junior students with the goal of reconciliation and understanding.
“I wish that I could bake a cake made out of rainbows and smiles, and we’d all eat and be happy,” Jenner lip-synced to the audio, recreating Daniel Franzese’s classic ensemble, the pulled-up blue hoodie and sunglasses, on her TikTok. She switched out her eyewear for chic black sunglasses, a green baseball hat, and a red Ohio State hoodie. While visiting Ohio, she attended the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit.
Additionally, a few days prior, Jenner hit the stage at L’Oréal Paris’ Le Défilé Walk Your Worth event at Paris Fashion Week, where she is the brand’s worldwide spokeswoman. She looked amazing in a silver gown and matching strappy heels she wore for the show’s grand finale.
Moreover, October has become a significant month for fans of Mean Girls. Fans were excited when Paramount Pictures released the full film on the Mean Girls TikTok account. The announcement was released on October 3, which fans will always remember as “Mean Girls Day,” inspired by the iconic Lindsay Lohan quote from the film.
In addition, a much-awaited Mean Girls musical is approaching. Angourie Rice is portraying the legendary role of Cady Heron in this film, which is an adaptation of the critically acclaimed 2018 Broadway performance.
Furthermore, in an exclusive interview with People Magazine back in April revealed a sneak peek at the upcoming Mean Girls musical film, which stars Reneé Rapp as Regina George. She called the film a “cool and very special” twist on the well-known story. “This is a very specific version of the musical that has a really specific place in a niche, culty theater way, that I think expands it to maybe people who aren’t super into theater,” Rapp stated.
The musical adaptation of Mean Girls is set to hit theaters on January 12, 2024.
