Pamela Anderson embraced her natural beauty at Paris Fashion Week, wearing only homemade rosehip oil on her face. Anderson is done putting up a “front.”

In an interview with Vogue, the Baywatch star opened up about her decision to not do glam, inspiring others to follow her lead in celebrating their authentic selves.

“I know I wasn’t making strides toward world peace, but I was making a statement,” Anderson stated. “I just thought, ‘I’m doing this for all the girls out there.’ I’ve had stepdaughters in past relationships and my sons have girlfriends, and this was for them.”

“In this day and age, do we even know what a face looks like anymore? This is it,” she continued.

Pamela Anderson made a bold statement at Paris Fashion Week by stepping out barefaced to the Vivienne Westwood show. In addition, the actress mentioned to Vogue that she wasn’t “in the mood to play the game” of traditional beauty standards and that she simply wanted to embrace her natural beauty.

“Once I put the clothing on, I thought, ‘I’d rather go for a walk and look at the architecture of Paris than sit in the makeup chair for three hours,'” she commented.

Pamela Anderson posed bare-faced in front of photographers at Paris Fashion Week. The paparazzi made her feel “a bit insecure,” especially with digital photography allowing for close-ups of even the tiniest imperfections. Despite her hesitation, Anderson chose to embrace her natural beauty, sending a powerful message of self-acceptance and empowerment.

“It felt a bit like jumping off a bridge, but I just smiled. And when I got home from the show, that’s when I decided I wanted to go makeup-free the entire week,” Anderson added.

Pamela Anderson embraced her natural beauty and authenticity after she moved back to her hometown on Vancouver Island in British Columbia in 2019. The actress revealed that she wanted to “get back to the person I was before I left for California in 1990.”

“Taking those chances is what makes life interesting,” Anderson commented on her bold move. “And if you have an open heart and you are being vulnerable, you can’t lose. This experience proved to me that people resonate with authenticity and with courage.”

Moreover, Anderson was featured in a video for Vogue France, getting ready to attend the Vivienne Westwood show. Anderson explained the pressures of unattainable beauty standards and why she decided to embrace her natural beauty at Paris Fashion Week.

“I don’t know, something just kind of came over me and I was dressing in these beautiful clothes and I thought, ‘I don’t want to compete with the clothes,'” Pamela shared. “I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room. I feel like it’s just freedom. It’s a release.”

Furthermore, Anderson mentioned that this is the happiest she’s been. “You know, if we all chase youth, or we’re chasing our idea of what fashion magazines and everything, we’re only gonna be disappointed or maybe a little bit sad. So I feel like this is it,” she added.

Undoubtedly, Anderson’s makeup-free statement is a refreshing reminder that beauty is not defined by age, makeup, or society’s expectations. It is about owning your unique beauty and celebrating your authentic self.
